There's a Spider in the Bed!?

So after going on our honeymoon we surprised my family at home for thanksgiving. They thought we would still be on our cruise. (I may do a small post on that later) So we all enjoyed a wonderful thansgiving and the day after. Although Friday night every single one of us got up at some point of the night sick. Except my mom, hopefully when I am a mom I have that kind of immune system haha. But we laid in bed all day calling for her for help. And me and Trexton had been married for one week, laying in bed totally sick. So the point of the story really is that in the last two weeks I have notice that when Trexton is healthy and great, I sleep wonderfully. When he is sick or stuffy when he sleeps it is a completely different story. He wakes me up soo many times a night, and doesn't remember it in the morning. Except the other night was different.

We went to bed at 9:30 because he was stuffy and had had a fever the night before so we decided it would probably be a good idea to get a good nights rest. Needless to say we both fell asleep in about .2 seconds of hitting the pillow. Around 12:30 I woke up to him yanking my arm out of bed yelling at me that there was a spider in the bed! And of course I about had a heart attack! He continued to tell me he couldn't see to kill it so he went and got a flash light (why he didn't just turn on the bedroom light I have no idea) and a towel to kill it and turned it on and then told me HE COULDN'T FIND THE SPIDER!!!! After him looking for what felt like forever I laid back down and told him to go to bed.

I woke up in the morning and preceded to ask, "Trexton, I don't remember if this was a dream or if it actually happened, but did you wake me up last night telling me there was a spider in the bed?"

He started dying laughing, which I then knew it indeed had happened. He then told me he had been dreaming about the spider hanging down from the ceiling and it was "going to get us". We continually laugh about this when telling people.

Never a dull moment with this kid :) This is also something that made we want to blog because they are little things that make us laugh that we never want to forget!

We're Married!

So since we have almost been married two weeks and we have already had a couple of eventful things that I do NOT want to forget and I am a terrible person at writing in my journal I thought I would start a blog! It is so much easier for me to sit down at a computer and type away than it is for me to write for an hour in a journal. And this way I can keep pictures along with it!

We drove down to Vegas from Provo Wednesday night and got there around midnight. People told us we were crazy for "rushing" things, considering I (along with my little brother) was going through the temple Thursday afternoon. But there was really no other way with school and work! So we arrived in Vegas about midnight on Wednesday and got up the next morning to a million things to do. I had to go to the reception venue, had my hair trial, making sure I liked everything because at this point my mom and sisters had picked out a lot since I was in Utah for most of the planning. And they did A WONDERFUL job, and they always checked with me on things. But to toot my own horn, I was not that difficult to deal with. I just wanted to get married. I also wanted to spend time with my family because I hadn't been able to see everyone the night before. And I can never resist playing with one of my cute little nieces or nephews.
The time came when we got ready for the temple and were off, the day was cold and rainy. Which I was so sad about because it was Vegas. It was not suppose to rain, especially the day before I got married. But as long as it rained that night and not the next day I was fine. I was so lucky to be able to go through the temple with (almost) my entire family! Unfortunately Nate had to work and Jordan had to stay with the little baby. But it was so cool to have that first experience. And to have my little brother going through the temple for the first time with me made it that much better.
Afterwards we all went back to Trexton's house and devoured all the delicious food that his mom had prepared for us. (Chipotle style -my fave, mmmm)

The next morning was so nice to be able to relax and spend time with my family because our sealing was not until 2:00p.m., so I had time to get ready and also get nervous! But we finally got to the temple around 12:30.

My Grandpa Stephenson was able to seal me in the temple for time and all eternity to the LOVE of my life! It was such a surreal moment and I hope I'll be able to remember it forever. We came out of the temple and unfortunately it was rainy and FREEZING, so we got some pictures with the kids and family and ran around for about 20 minutes trying to snap every shot we could!

After the temple me and Trexton were starving, so what did we do? Straight to Chipotle. Scarfed it down and headed to our reception about 40 minutes later after relaxing for a bit with family!

The reception was everything I have ever wanted! I loved every flower and decoration in there. I was able to make a movie that played when everyone first walked in of pictures of me and Trexton :) and my uncle surprised me with a photo booth! It made everything that much better!! The wonderful DJ that got everyone dancing was awesome!  I had such a good time and was able to enjoy myself with the love of my life! I was so happy to see everyone that came to support us on our first day of ETERNITY!
We danced to Crazy Girl by Eli Young Band
Which has been our song for as long a I can remember

Quinn was the dancing QUEEN! she never wanted to leave the dance floor!
Some of my best friends from Utah were able to make the drive down :)

I had to steal these pics off Facebook, I can't wait to get my own hopefully sometime soon!
